RP Thresholds
RP thresholds will be the same as they were at Championship.
G403 – Center Line Exception
A ROBOT may be completely across the CENTER LINE for less than a MOMENTARY period of time, as long as it does not contact an opponent ROBOT while across the CENTER LINE.
G408 – Strategic Violations
Violation: If strategic, the penalty is a MAJOR FOUL and VERBAL WARNING .
For subsequent strategic violations during the event, the penalty is a MAJOR FOUL and YELLOW CARD .
6.3.4 Scoring Elements – Preloads
Each alliance is given 24 FUEL for preloads. These may be divided and distributed in any quantity among that alliance’s ROBOTs by the DRIVE TEAM, as long as each FUEL is fully supported by the ROBOT.
This means up to 48 total FUEL may be preloaded between both alliances. Any FUEL not preloaded in a ROBOT will be staged in the NEUTRAL ZONE.
Teams are encouraged to coordinate with their alliance partners before the match to determine how many preloads each ROBOT will take.
Evergreen Changes
There will be no official inspection process, but obvious ROBOT size infractions will need to be corrected.
The ROBOT weight allowance is increased by 5 pounds .
Alliance selection will use the 1–8, 1–8, 8–1 format.
Video Review
During playoffs, each alliance will receive one challenge coupon. This coupon may be used to challenge a match-affecting penalty or yellow/red card.
The referee team will review the specific call using the full-field event-provided video. If the challenge is successful, the alliance receives the coupon back, allowing for a maximum of two successful challenges.
Additionally, the Head Referee may choose to review calls at any point during playoffs, even without an alliance using a coupon.
Driver’s Meeting / HR / FTA Notes
The driver’s meeting should include a clear explanation of what “strategic” means under G408.
G415 and G416 should also be reviewed. These will be called the same as they were during the official season, with the reminder that these rules do not make blockers illegal.
There will also be some form of ordered placement in queue, likely through Nexus or Google Form.
